SDG are sure our customers will agree the London 2012 Olympic Games will be an exciting time for the UK. However, many businesses across the UK may be affected by the Olympic Games, particularity those located in London and the surrounding areas. SDG are committed to making this period of time as easy as possible for our customers.
The Olympic Games start with the opening ceremony on the 27th July and run until the closing ceremony on the 12th August; after which there is a two week break before the Paralympic games begin on the 29th August and finish on the 9th September.
In order to support our customers during this period SDG have been working on training their customer service team to understand the impact of traffic restrictions in and around the affected areas.

SDG signs UK distribution agreement with Honeywell Scanning and Mobility.
SDG, the EMEA Specialist Technology Distributor has signed an agreement to offer Honeywell's scanning and mobility products to both retail and data capture resellers. This agreement enables SDG to offer the latest in scanning and mobility solutions and services to its UK reseller network, for vertical markets such as retail, healthcare, transportation and logistics.

SDG has been named VMware OEM Distributor of the Year 2011 for a strategy that has seen the company achieve a significant hike in sales while extending the virtualisation and cloud infrastructure leader’s reach within the UK market.
Presented with the coveted award at VMware’s Partner Recognition event in London, SDG was recognised for a range of initiatives that has considerably boosted the vendor’s market presence over the course of last year.
